Canon ImagePROGRAF PRO-1000 Printer unboxing, setup, hardware, software and XPS Driver. Was it easy?

“The negative is the equivalent of the composer’s score, and the print the performance.” – Ansel Adams

I have to say, when I first picked up my camera a few years back the last thing on my mind was making a physical print.  What the heck, we are in the digital age now...Right? I can just send it all of to the printer....Right?  Wow has that changed!!!!!! Now when I look at a "shot",  that's what my mind sees...the image as a print.

Recently I purchased a Canon ImagePROGRAF PRO-1000, a 17x25 inch professional printer.  This is one heavy sturdy printer and you would expect that when you see Canon's recognizable red stripe embracing the case.  I've set up a few printers and can still remember my apprehensive thoughts as I pushed the "Install Button"....PLEASE PLEASE WORK.  So I thought it may help if I video taped the complete installation (hardware, software, XPS Print Driver) to see just how hard or easy Canon made the setup. It's a little long but I'll cover most of the steps.

I'll be creating a video blog on the Canon Print Studio Pro plug-in in the near future so make sure you enter your email in the Email signup to receive future blogs and please subscribe to my YouTube Channel.  Let me assure you I do not spam and you can cancel at anytime.  Hope you enjoy.

In this video I unbox and install a new Canon ImagePROGRAF Pro-1000 printer. Hardware, software and XPS printer driver.
